Rene Marie Russo has been an actress, supermodel as well as a film maker in the US. Alongside her stunning appearance, her steady success in the competitive film industry proves her skills as a performer. Her career began as a fashion model in the year 1970 then she rose quickly to fame. Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes within the UFC. She began as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. The fighter has gained plenty of fame following her joining of the UFC because of her on and off the octagon's success. Namajunas was born the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose participated in basketball and kickboxing throughout her growing into a young woman. Her first appearance in professional competition at the age of 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at age 22, she signed her to fight as a strawweight in the UFC. Her career has had both lows and highs and she's in a position to emerge from her fights with a win. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes after the start of the round. This was the first ever women to compete for a title title with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas was able to win several bouts following this victory, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night recognition from UFC.
